Kris has been a full-time freelance graphic designer and illustrator since 1993. She is a graduate of New York University and currently resides in Brooklyn. Kris is proficient in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and many other programs.

Most of Kris's work is in book publishing, primarily designing and producing book interiors. She also designs covers and creates illustrations for both the interiors and jackets. These books run the gamut from simple novels to complex books such as cookbooks, lifestyle books, art books, and how-to guides.

Clients include HarperCollinsPublishers, Houghton Mifflin, HC, Collins, Harry N. Abrams, William Morrow, Hyperion, Newmarket Press, Simon & Schuster, Random House, Viking Publishing, Sterling Publishing, Ballantine, Doubleday, and Macmillan Publishing.
